  1. This promotion is open to all Singapore citizen(s), Singapore Permanent Resident(s) or Foreigner(s) with valid Work Pass, Student Pass, Dependant’s Pass or Long-Term Visit Pass.
  2. Promotion is valid from 16 August 2018 to 30 November 2018 (“Promotion Period”).
  3. This promotion is applicable for successful online application or purchase via Tiq website at www.tiq.com.sg only.
  4. Each successful applicant will be entitled to the following complimentary gift (the “Gift”):
    1. For 14-month policy, one complimentary home-based medical check-up
    2. For 26-month policy, one complimentary home-based medical check-up, and one complimentary in-clinic medical check-up.
    Each medical check-up will consist the following tests:
    1. Venereal Disease Research Laboratory (VDRL) test
    2. Urine Pregnancy Test
    For 26-month policy, second check-up can only be scheduled after 180 days. Any out-of-scope medical services or treatment rendered will be at your own expense. The attending nurse or clinic will bill and collect directly all such expenses from you, your domestic helper or the person authorised by you to redeem the Gift.
  5. A redemption email will be sent to the policy holder within 2 weeks upon successful transmission to Ministry of Manpower. Request of appointment for home-based medical check-up can be made via Doctor Anywhere’s link here and a unique code provided in the redemption email.
  6. The Gift is not transferable or exchangeable for cash, credit or any other item in part or in whole.
  7. Redemption of the Gift will be at your or your domestic helper’s own risk. Etiqa will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage whatsoever arising in connection with the Gift
  8. If you cancel your ePROTECT maid policy for any reason at all, at any time within 180 days of the policy commencement date, Etiqa reserves the right to deduct the value of the Gift ($35) from the refund premium (if applicable) allowed under the policy. Where the value of the Gift exceeds the refund premium, no refund will be made.
  9. This promotion is not valid in conjunction with any ongoing or existing insurance promotions, coupons, staff discounts and privileges, unless otherwise stated.

What is the Six-Monthly Medical Examination (6ME) service about?

It is mandated by the Ministry of Manpower for your helper to go through a medical screening every six months during her employment. This medical examination screens for pregnancy and infectious diseases such as syphilis.

What are the benefits of home-based medical screening service?

With this service, you’ll receive the test results through e-mail and physical mail, without the hassle of visiting the clinic. Additionally, you don’t need to send across the results to the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Doctor Anywhere do so for you directly.

Who will be conducting this service?

The medical examination will be conducted by trained and certified phlebotomists with verified work experience at recognised medical institutions. However, one of their Singapore-registered doctors will be reviewing and certifying your helper’s results.

What are the operating hours?

The mobile screening service hours are between 8.30am and 5pm, from Mondays to Saturdays, while fulfilment would depend on availability. In-clinic screening would be according to the clinic’s operating hours, which will be advised by Doctor Anywhere’s customer care team based on your selection.

 How does the home-based medical screening service work?

For home-based screening, follow the below steps:

Step 1:  Receive the promo code & link to a request form through the redemption email that will be sent out to you within 2 weeks of your purchase for ePROTECT maid insurance policy.

Step 2: Fill up the request form and indicate the preferred time slot.

Step 3:  Wait for the clinic to call you within 3 working days (after verifying the status of your policy) to set up your appointment, which must be at least 4 days in advance.

Step 4:  Doctor Anywhere’s health screening team will come to your doorstep to conduct the medical examination team

Step 5:  Receive the results within 5 working days via e-mail, and 10 working days via physical mail

Step 6:  If your helper was tested positive for any of the results, they will give you a call and inform the MOM.

    How does the in-clinic medical screening service work?

For in-clinic screening, follow the below steps:
